Between 1946 and 1980, Foghorn appeared in 30 animated short films. The chatty boss of the chicken farm is the quintessential Dixie Chicken, and the cheeky rooster is always up for pranks. With a puffed-out chest and sometimes quite mean, he talks everything into the ground. Foghorn was originally intended to be a supporting character in a Henry Hawk cartoon, but the southern gentleman quickly left the lowly chicken world behind to start his own career.
